All eyes and years wait for Apple’s September event. Everybody expect a bunch of new gadgets from global tech giant. New iPod touch is the most expected one if Apple wouldn’t change its trend followed for years.

Apple’s long cherished TV project is yet to be fulfilled. This year’s event may put an end to the hobby and the makers of the iPhone and the iPad will bring more dream devices. The event scheduled on September1 will be held at Yerba Buena Centre for Arts.

As the September events are mostly devoted to iPods an iPod touch with dual camera will be this year’s new baby from Apple. According to analysts the forward-facing cam in new iPods would allow to use FaceTime over WiFi which is a definite selling feature for the players.

The new cameras would support Apple's iMovie software, allowing video editing directly on the fly. New high-contrast retina display is another feature expected in the new iPods.

The September event may witness the debut of a new version Apple TV called iTV. This updated version will have features like 16GB of flash storage, the ability to run applications, and the ability to stream iTunes to iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touches over Wi-Fi.

Meanwhile, there are reports of Apple’s talk with major U.S. TV networks from Walt Disney Co's ABC to General Electric Co's NBC. The negotiation is focused on offering TV shows for rent via iTunes for 99 cents per episode. Still neither Apple nor networks commented on the issue.

Apple reported a big fall in iPod sales last year which marked sales of 9.41 million iPods in the June quarter, down from 10.2 million a year earlier. On the other hand analysts estimate the company sells about 1 million Apple TV units annually.
