Phoenix: Tornado warning Phoenix & Arizona tornado warning. Tornado warnings have been issued. The national Weather Service has predicted severe storm, flooding in and around Arizona.

In a press release the National Weather Service said, “National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line extending from 17 miles north of Mammoth to Marana to 33 miles south of three points...moving east at 20 mph”.

It further said, “The strongest winds are along and ahead of a frontal boundary that is currently pushing through picture rocks and marana. Although these storms do not have frequent lightning...they have the capability of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This frontal boundary will continue to move east into the greater tucson metro area over the next 45 minutes”.

Meanwhile Tornado actually hitting Arizona have been confirmed by television and wire reports.

Reports suggest that tornado has destroyed several high voltage electricity polls and has caused flooding in some areas.
