Every road seems to be leading to the same place as was every one who is who not just in the city but across the country. From India’s home minister to almost all the leading lights of Indian cinema both from regional film industries to Bollywood were there.

And to top them all was octogenarian chief minister of Tamil nadu Karunanidhi who came to bless the daughter and son in law of India’s only true superstar Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth’s petite daughter Saundarya Rajinikanth was married to her boyfriend of long Ashwin Ram Kumar.

I must admit that I haven’t seen a newly wed couple from glmour world looking so happy as Ashwin and Saundarya. They looked truly in love and the presence of so many people from politics and entertainment world didn’t make them nervous.

Rajinikanth was very emotional and said that he was eager that all his fans were present on the occasion to bless the newly wed couple but he couldn’t arrange as it would have demanded massive arrangements.

I thank him because had he done so we might have many people injured in the melee that might have followed the marriage as every one in the state would have wanted to be there and see their hero and his daughter and son in law.
