Samsung Galaxy Tab in a win win condition against Apple iPad tablet. Samsung has successfully launched its 7-inch touchscreen Galaxy Tablet. The Tablet is expected to ship in Europe during the month of October. Galaxy Tab users will not only be able to make phone calls with it but also to surf the Web, watch movies, read e-books as well as navigate using GPS. The company has not cleared about launching date in U.S.A.
Samsung Galaxy is world’s first DivX certified Tablet. Tab running on the latest Android V2.2 alias Froyo, has the latest Adobe Flash Player 10.1. It also promises to deliver exciting mobile experience for its users to watch films, view images, e-reading and sharing documents.
Communication can now be less painstaking with e-mail, video or voice call, SMS, MMS or social network. Samsung enhances users’ mobile communication to a whole new level with 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G HSPA connectivity.
It has a 7-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, and a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 16GB of integrated storage. It has a MicroSD card slot that can expand the storage capacity with another 32GB. Samsung claimed that the Tab has gives the higher resolution as compared to other Android-based smartphones. It is also compatible with about 85 percent to 90 percent of applications on the Android Market.
Samsung assured users about the concession of the device. It was also revealed that the Tab has good battery life that can last up to eight hours. It has front face camera of 1.3-megapixel for video calls or conferencing, and on the back a 3-megapixel camera with a LED lamp. It weighs about 380 grams, and measures 19 centimeters by 12 cm by 1.2 cm. On the other hand iPad has a 9.7-inch touchscreen and weighs up to 730 grams.
