Washington received close to two feet snow during the last few days.

New York City public schools will be closed on Wednesday due to the major snowstorm expected to blanket the region overnight, sources told CBS 2.

Forecasts have indicated that the snowing and blizzard is going to be particularly very severe in New York City this time.
