San Francisco: New Facebook layout, new Facebook homepage and new facebook changes are not userfriendly, Facebook, world's most appealing social networking site has celebrated its sixth birth day by once again rolling out a new design for its homepage. Facebook is known for its intermittent redesigning of homepages.
This time, Facebook has brought in a new look and feel for its web page, adding and replacing a few popular features into some prominent spots.
Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook said that the social networking site has climbed one more step into popularity with its membership reaching in to 400 million this week.
"So to celebrate six years of Facebook and the 400 million people on the service, we're doing what we like doing most -- building and launching products for people," Zuckerberg said in a blog post on Thursday.
The new Facebook homepage will comprise of several key features that can at once attract millions of new users into the social networking platform. In a major change, the notification icon, that is to notify the user when a friend sends a message or writes on wall has been moved from the lower right corner to the left side of the top menu.
The search bar, which is helpful for a user to search out his fiends by name has been moved into middle of the top menu, where it will grab any user's eyes.
Besides, the new face of the Facebook will highlight the chatting bar, which helps a user chat live with online friends has been separated from its former window and placed below the page independently. New look will also highlight some importance to apps and games.
