Motorola Droid 2 and Droid X have edge over iPhone 4 after Froyo update. Motorola Droid 2 and Droid X from Motorola are vying for space against Apple’s iPhone 4. The two smartest smart phones from Motorola stable have given a tough fight to Apple’s iPhone 4 that was launched close to the arrival of the twin phones.
But so far the clear response whenever compared was that Apple’s iPhone was better than the Motorola Droid 2 and Droid X.
But with the Froyo Android 2.2 updates released for the two phones, many people say that the two phones now have edge over Apple’s iPhone 4.
Motorola’s Droid is being relegated to be the part of history as the company continues to launch better and more improved Droid devices.
If Droid X was launched just around a few month ago, here comes another big push from the telecom giant to launch another great and better device than Motorola Droid 2. It is also the first Motorola smart phone that runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and claim to eclipse all other smart phones in the market.
To be true, Droid 2 has got massive amount of power from 1GHz processor and 512 MB ram. And with 8gb inbuilt hard disk and another 8gb inbuilt micro SD card it has enough memory to keep you going.
Its 8 mega pixel camera is a sufficient addition to entice new users to come and try it.
Meanwhile a reader says, “It seems like droid 2 has 30fps which would be useful for shooting clips for uploading to social media... what happens with droid x 24 fps clips? Don't they have to be transformed for most normal online posting purposes to 30fps? I like to watch movies on a large screen in 24 fps, but I don't get the droid x logic of a 24 fps recording speed. If the Droid2 is built like the Droid then it should be a good phone. I was really impressed with the first Droid, very solid feel, nice slide screen.”
