Los Angeles: Kate Gosselin new show will not be a success sans her children. It seems that TLC needs Kate Gosselin very badly. The television network doesn’t seem to have found a replacement for this former nurse whose claim to fame are her eight kids.

When many thought that Kate Gosselin, a reality star who was part of Jon and Kate Plus 8 reality show along with her now ex husband Jon Gosselin and the eight kids, will start sending her resume to different hospitals, the TLC has offered her a new role.

Now there are rumors that she needs contestants on her forthcoming show who earn at least six figure salaries.

But I fail to understand as to how she and the show will be able to click with the audience when there are no kids around.

I am not sure that many people appreciate her acting skills.

Now Kate is joining a new reality show. This was confirmed by Steve Cheskin, who heads major programs for the TLC network. Kate has made her first debut with TLC network. Her first reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8 became so popular that overnight she became a star.

Her celebrity status created problem for her as relationships with her husband hit a new low. In 2009 many tabloids ran her story on their front page. She was talk of the town and had a huge following. But her personal life was hit. Kate was not on speaking term with her distraught husband. Both of them had accused each other of cheating on them. Kate had even filed a complaint against her husband for taking out money from their joint accounts. Besides, he was accused of having relationship with some girlfriend.

However, the controversy ended after the divorce. But in the fight between husband and wife it was the children who suffered the most. Jon was least hit by the controversy because of his popularity. Their final show had attracted some 4.3 million viewers. This time it would be interesting to see how Kate manages herself on the TV.
