No nobody can stop you from jailbreaking iPhone. Not even the law. Jialbreaking has been declared as legal. And phone mavens can easily go about looking for software that will help them to crack the mystery of iPhone and avail more facility.
In a historic decision, the U.S Copyright Office ruled that jailbreaking an iPhone or other mobile device has not to do with any federal copyright law violation. For the time being it difficult to find out the reaction of users. But many experts are sure that this will trigger a rat race among many users to find out more about jailbreaking methods.
The development has upset Apple that had approached the Office for declaring the whole activity unethical. But they failed to convince the government about their apprehension. However, the term jailbreak first appeared in 2007. During this period iPhone made a debut and many had tried their hand at jailbreaking the device. But only a few could succeed.
The law also declared that it will no longer violate federal copyright law.
