India vs Srilanka live score: Sachin 108, India 382/4 inching to mammoth score as Sachin and Suresh Raina straighten Indian inning
Notwithstanding some hiccups this morning Indian batsmen are on course to come up with a good response to Sri lanka’s mammoth score. India had got a very good opening partnership between Virendra Sehwag, one of the best Indian batsmen right now and M Vijay, another very talented new player in the Indian team.
Both scored half centuries. While Sehwag unfortunately lost his wicket at 99 Vijay scored 56 runs.
But after the duo departed, Indian batting line up gave some anxious moment as Dravid and Laxman, two old warhorses who look like very tired now after playing for so many years for India departed one after the other.
The team should now decide as to whether it should continue investing time and energy in old canon that no longer work or developing new armors in our cricketing forts. Dravid seems to have lost his touch.
After Dravid and laxman’s ouster came Sachin Tendulkar and Suresh Raina.
Both are still at the crease and Sachin has already scored a century. The Little Master has once again shown like on many other occasions that pressure is not a word for him.
He always plays under pressure and plays superbly, making runs and keeping the team’s fortune afloat.
The only cricketer who seems to have a temperament like Sachin is Hashim Amla of South Africa who also seem like very focused. Amla has won five of the six awards that his teammates got in batting.
Sachin has scored 108 runs and it will not be wrong if we expect another double century from him in response to Sangakkara’s double knock.
