Husain Madavoor appointed coordinator of WML's educational committee

Kozhikode: Dr. Husain Madavoor has been selected as the regional coordinator of the educational committee of Muslim World League (Rabita al-Alam al-Islami‎). Indian states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh come under the jurisdiction of Hussain Madavoor.

Mr. Husain is supposed to coordinate educational activities of WML in these states. His duties also include eradicating false conceptions about Islam and planning special programmes in job-related training.

Rabita deploys similar coordinators in several countries to regulate its activities in educational and occupational sectors. Three-year is the term for Madavoor as the coordinator.

Husain Madavoor is an Islamic Studies degree holder from the Ummul Qura University in Mecca. He completed a Post Graduate degree from Aligarh Muslim University and finished PhD from the University of Calicut.

Currently, he is serving as the principal of Farook Rawlathul Uloom Arabic College. He is also a member of the State Waqf Board and the Academic Council of the University of Calicut, Kerala. He is also the All-India Secretary of Islami Movement.
