There is some good news and I am sure people are going to use it to their maximum advantage. Two most sought after smart phones one from HTC and the other from Motorola HTC Droid Incredible and Motorola Droid (original) have got Android 2.2 updates.

In case of Motorola Droid it was due for at least five months while in the case of HTC Droid Incredible it was due for several weeks and Amazon had failed to issue the updates for the two handsets on time.

People’s interest in Droid Incredible remains high due to the fact that it is as good as any latest mobile handset.

HTC had used the best specifications including 1GHz processor for its one of the best mobile handsets  available in the entire market.

But there are people who say that the Android 2.2 updates have not done what was expected them to do on the other hand slowed down the handset. A reader says, “Android 2.2 update has done opposite to what I was thinking. Instead of making it faster, the handset has got slower”.

Another reader says, “Software for Droids will be the main problem for Droids. There are too many Droid phones, some only one year old, that will not be able to be upgraded, for what ever reason. I guess I don't know enough about the hardware to be able to understand the reasoning behind why 2.2 can't just go out and work on everybody's phone? Is it because Motorola, Verizon and ATT do something different to their respective phones? I just don't get it. This is one reason why the iPhone will always be a popular device to some people”.
