Final Fantasy XIV Beta launches tonight: FFxiv beta to floor you. It was too much to wait for beta testing of Final Fantasy XIV. And now the publisher, Square Enix has announced its launch tonight. The beta test of the new MMO was scheduled to start on Tuesday. Later it  was postponed thanks to “critical” bugs in the code.

The company has disclosed that the Final Fantasy XIV will roll on September 30 into PC. The PlayStation 3 will get this up to March 2011. This is the first foray into the MMO space since Enix launched Final Fantasy XI in 2002.

The test will uncover the wonder, how Square Enix reshaped an MMO in the post-Warcraft world. Recently the hardcore gamers had turned against FFXIV as the company tried to discourage marathon game sessions. To achieve this goal it reduced the gains of players who stay online and crush for too long.

However, the current beta test is aimed only for PC users. If you want to go through the test just visit the official Final Fantasy XIV. As you open beta website you can sign up and start playing, and watch Game|Life for ongoing impressions of the game.

Square Enix made this announce through their website saying the beta will debut tonight at 10 p.m. ET. The gamers and fans are advised to visit the website and find the links to get the most awaited beta testing of Final Fantasy XIV.
