Washington DC: Federal government closed Tuesday and snow storm Wednesday. Snowstorms and blizzard have battered the federal capital forcing many government and private officers to shut down for several days. Federal government offices in Washington DC are going to be closed for second day in the row due to the worsening weather.
As people brace themselves for more snow on the roads and fear the power outage as several power lines tripped by worsening weather last week, the Feds officers are going to be shut down for one more days.
I fear that government offices will remain closed for a few more days as there is no end of snowstorm in sight for some days.
In last week’s snowstorm, the Federal capital received more than a feet snow, National Weather Service has predicted several inches snow in today’s snowstorm too.
National Weather Service has said that the area may receive as much as twenty inches of snow.
This year Washington DC area has received heaviest snowfall in more than a decade.
