Los Angeles: Facebook new layout and how do i get the new Facebook layout: Facebook users disappointed. Social-networking site Facebook’s new redesigned homepage has drawn mixed reactions from its users.
Since it unveiled its new homepage the company has been inundated with complaints. A large number of users are unhappy with the changes. They say it has made things difficult for them. Things that are worrying them are deleting status updates. Besides, message posted six months ago have not popped up.
Under the makeover, some changes have been made on the front page. The engineers at the company have rearranged the left side menu bar. On this are displayed messages and events. Besides, friends and applications also appear on the same menu creating confusion for the users.
The changes haven’t reached all Facebook users. The company’s engineers say they would take another week to make the features available to 400 million members of Facebook. But it would be interesting to see how the company reacts to the complaint. This not one-off incident for the company, earlier too the company had decided to make some changes but it dropped the idea after it faced fierce criticism from its hard-core users.
Interestingly, the problem is mentioned on the official Facebook blog. However, the company has not issued any official statement.
