Elena Kagan finally sworn in as Supreme Court justice

Elena Kagan has been finally sworn in as Supreme Court justice. President Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court has been sworn in as a judge in Supreme Court. This is another big, indeed very big victory for President Barack Obama on home front.

After a long fight he has been able to get in his second nominee into the Supreme Court, increasing his and Democrats’ stranglehold over judiciary in the US that seemed to be somewhat partisan against him.

A reader says, “The left has proven beyond a shadow of doubt that they know how to infiltrate any organization by placing Lindsay Graham (SC), Judd Gregg (NH), Susan Collins (Maine), Richard Lugar (IN), and Olympia Snowe (Maine) in the republican party. Elections has consequences, and this one was a big one that may require over 30 years for a full recovery. Boot the incumbents, boot the political class, boot the ruling class. Vote in fresh blood and patriots who do not need to analyze their answers for political correctness and potential polling results before opening their mouths. I’d rather have a clumsy but honest answer than concealed lies.”

Another reader says, “Question: How does a person who has never tried a case to a jury or sat as a trial judge get to review jury verdicts while sitting on the supreme court? Answer: gutless republican senators who refused to filibuster her appointment. A sad day for America”.

Yet another reader has this opinion to share, “Kagan is a statist, pure and simple, and she has written about her motivation “to alter” the American form of government. As well, she has decried the market economy and advocated socialism. And she thinks that it’s OK for the government to ban books and control internet content. Who supposes that these facts do not have dangerous implications for the future of freedom in America? The leftist “pregressives” are orgasmic, and while I have a rope for them and an itch to use it, that won’t be enough to overthrow the dictatorship of Barak Hushpuppy OhBummer and the OhBummer Wrecking Crew.”
