Detroit Auto Show concludes with Asian carmakers Honda, Toyota and Hyundai unveiling a lineup new-gen cars, Honda Civic Si 2012, Hyundai Veloster and Toyota Prius V, key attractions of NAIAS 2011.
Honda is to begin shipping of its new Honda Civic Si Concept coupe late 2011. The Japanese car maker unveiled its new Honda Civic 2012 version at North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The new Honda Civic is looking quite stunning and breathtaking.
Honda Civic Si Concept is indeed a big blow on Honda’s major Japanese rival Toyota Motors, the world’s No. 1 car maker. Honda showed off its redesigned Honda Civic as the best Civic ever.
The carmaker introduced little changes in the styling department of 2012 Honda Civic. Mostly, the ninth version Honda carried improvements in interior parts and engine efficiency. Honda is always known for its great-looking interiors and highly performing engines.
“The Civic is known for providing a balance of ‘just-right’ packaging, fun-to-drive character and outstanding fuel economy, at a price that even first-time buyers can afford,” said Honda American Executive John Mendel.
Toyota Motors and Hyundai, two other leading Asian automakers also displayed new models at Detroit auto show. Toyota rolled in a latest version for its glamorous Toyota Corolla. The Japanese carmaker also unleashed fifth version of its famous hybrid car Prius V.
Hyundai’s pavilion at the Detroit auto show was packed with media reporters and audiences when the company uncovered its new car Veloster. The three-door Hyundai Veloster more looked like the follower of Honda CR-V.
