Chorus for Verizon iPhone grows: iPhone on Verizon and White iPhone 4 in 2011 certain

6 September, 2010

Chorus for Verizon iPhone grows: iPhone on Verizon and White iPhone 4 in 2011 certain. Verizon iPhone is the talk of the town despite not being launched this past week when the all powerfull Steve Jobs launched several new and improved products.

There was a sense of betrayal among many people who had slim hope that the man who rules the tech world like no one else would make announcement about the ‘imminent’ launch of Verizon iPhone.

It is simply ridiculous for people to know that the man clearly knows that iPhone users want an iPhone on Verizon and that has been backed by many polls and re-polls but he is not prepared to acknowledge.

This must be very disappointing for people to realize that one thing that no one asked, Apple TV was launched while one product that can fetch around ten million people was not talked about at all.

The stranglehold on media during the Apple press conferences is so much that no one is allowed to ask question except what Apple and Steve Jobs want

A reader has this to say, “ATT has had 40% more customers, and about the same in profits.... because they were smart enough to sign with the iPhone, Verizon had the same opportunity, and LOST customers because they could not see the future... fail and 40% more is not a combination that most people would make. it is pretty clear ATT did the smart move, Apple couldn't do anything but a smart move, and Verizon just is getting its lunch eaten with those 40% extra subscribers going to ATT..

Another reader says, “ The majority of the world uses GSM/UMTS. CDMA is Mobile's Betamax. Why would Apple willingly add an extra level of complexity and cost to their device when the majority of their customers arent going to see any benefit. The iPhone isnt just out in the USA you know. There is a "Rest of the world" out there, and most of it doesnt have a CDMA network to choose”.
