Los Angeles: Charlie Sheen charged for assaulting his wife & cocktail for the Love of Ray J. Actor Charlie Sheen was charged for felony menacing and criminal mischief in case of assaulting his wife in a Christmas Day event in Aspen. Sheen has been arrested for pinning his wife, Brooke Mueller to a bed and holding a knife to her throat.
With the criminal charges, actor's successful career will be in trouble. Sheen has been starring in one of the most watched comedies, "Two and a Half Men" on CBS. Channel authorities declined to comment on after Sheen was charged.
After charging, the Judaical District Chief, B. Boyd allowed Sheen to return to Los Angeles along with his wife, Brooke Mueller. The judge also allowed the couple to see each other from today onwards.
In response the couple embraced inside the court after hearing and left to Los Angeles on the same flight.
"Literally the minute the judge said, 'OK, you can have contact,' they hugged and kissed," said Mueller's attorney, Yale Galanter.
"They're both relieved," Sheen's attorney, Richard Cummins, said. "It's pretty stressful on a couple with two children to not see each other."
Sheen was arrested by on December 25the when his wife called up the police and complained that Sheen held her tight in the neck and put a knife on the throat following an argument.
The couple married in May 2008 and they had two children.
