But the "Smuggle Truck: Operation Immigration" has erupted like political bombshell. The game is developed on a storyline connected with the passing of immigrants across the U.S.-Mexican border.

Boston-based Owlchemy is the developers of this iPhone and iPad app which allow the gamers to drive a truck full of immigrants. Users are awarded points according their skill to cross the border with maximum human cargo.

According to Owlchemy officials, the "Green Card" titles are awarded to most careful drivers. The terrible driver will be awarded by "Smugglers Run" for his failure to save the life of immigrants. The company plans to launch "the premiere smuggling game on the App Store" by March.

Owlchemy has posted a few screen shot of the 'Smuggle Truck: Operation Immmigration' in which hapless passengers are seen bouncing from the bed of a truck. The company defended their selection of the theme claiming that "As we lived through a painful 12 months of our friend struggling through the absurd legal minefield that surrounds U.S. immigration, we felt that we should create a game that touches on the issue."

However, the developers have suggested that they have "maintained a meticulous eye to avoid depicting stereotype and specific locales." Owlchemy also claimed that they wanted to create a game that is fun to play but also stirs up discussion on ways to improve the problematic immigration system in the United States. To do this task well, developers adopted a satirical angle of the real issue.
