A missing 19-year-old girl, Brittney Kustes in Kentucky back home “terrified” and “brutally devastated” by a sex offender. Kustes, who has been missing since July 17, came back after a series of tortures from a sex offender, who is doubted to be Roy Vernon Elwell, a well-known sex offender in the place.
Police is ransacking the city for Elwell, who kidnapped the same girl in the past and addicted her to drugs like methamphetamine. This time too Kustes is made in addiction to drugs, her mother Laurie Kustes said. The girl is taken into a hospital and is under treatments including psychiatric counseling.
Kustes was found missing as she went for a visit at her grandparents’ home in Brooks, Kentucky, just south of Louisville, Kentucky, said Scott McGaha of the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office. McGaha made it clear that witnesses disclosed that Elwell was observed driving up and down the street the day she went missing.
Police has been in search for Elwell for a while. He was reported to be continuously involved in several similar cases of kidnapping and torturing young girls. Kustes’ mother demanded police hook up the convict as quick as possible.
Laurie was relieved to listen to the news that her daughter escaped from the captivity of the sex offender. “It was truly a blessing,” she said. “When we found her, we just stared at each other and I told her over and over you’re safe now ... and she just cried and cried.”
Meanwhile it is reported that Elwell’s friends revealed that he was laughing off at police’s warning to appear in front of a sheriff.
